Christmas Scenario

Emmanuel-- God with us.

I got all packed up today to head out for a lovely retreat to Toronto with family.
Christmas time is great. I like it. I know a whole lot of people dread it because of the stress bit, but, well, I like it.

My favorite scenario:

Christmas jazz playing (or the Charlie Brown Christmas album..)
Candles lit
Oil burner lit, nice fragrance like... Cinnamon or Cranberry
Toasty inside
Cold outside
Snow falling
Tree lit
Dim lights
snuggling around with those you love

(Cace, I know you can relate. I hope you are having a lovely Christmas, remember keep on imagining snow all around.)

Nice. What's your favorite Christmas scenario?

Shalom.

I definitely like the scenario you described. Snow outside, candles inside.
It seems like every Christmas has been so different over the past few years, so I have so many varied memories and scenarios.
Simply being with family and friends is my ideal Christmas scenario. One of the traditions I've noticed in my family is how we bond together as we try to figure out the rules of the latest board-game that inevitably one of us receives as a gift!
But I have a feeling this year will be a special Christmas.

Cold Outside? I'll take warm warm anyday. Though the cuddly part could become sweaty and anoying. I just heard last night of people in PnG walking 5 days straight to be home with their families and experience God's Hope together. That's a big part for me. Making a trek to be with family

I love giving out the gifts I get for people. I love all the memories I have of Christmas and how I always end up talking or eating too much!
